Released in version 2.97

Integrated client-server security is now a reality with version 2.97. This means that the application’s users can be configured to retain their existing SQL server or Windows security context when sending user queries and commands. A user can simply be flagged to use integrated security (Figure 23). A Conductor4SQL user without appropriate permissions, executing certain commands on client-servers, will therefore adhere to existing security conditions.

In Conductor4SQL setting up date synchronization and consolidating data from client-servers is a simple procedure. The “Enable Reverse Data Sync” option (Figure 24) further allows for central data to be synchronized back to the distributed client-servers. Combined, this is currently a single cohesive setup, greatly simplifying bi-directional data syncing. This unifies your business data for optimal management and allows for your business application to integrate to the resulting data sync structure.

An enhanced dashboard screen (Figure 25) displays further information, including any errors returned from client-servers, database version exceptions and data syncing variations. Clicking on the “Details” button below each indicator navigates to the “Central Client Control” screen to display detailed messages.
