Released in version 2.96
C4SQL now integrates user permissions with Windows and MS SQL on the central server, making the setup of any additional security model unnecessary.
With integrated security, a Windows authenticated user can be created as a server login and is effortlessly assigned to a C4SQL database role (Figure 26). Setting up granular user security is just one of the numerous advantages that integrating to the security model of MS SQL offers. A big convenience with Windows integrated security is that a user enters no login credentials to access the application.

Another excellent addition in version 2.96 is a windows service for Conductor4SQL. This service enables automation of client-server status checks and greatly reduces previous manual intervention and workload.

A display of the progress when uninstalling a client-server, similar to the install progress monitoring screen, is also currently presented before receiving the confirmation message. The “Client Uninstall Progress” displays the status of steps that need monitoring (Figure 28).
